In a TikTok video, a dad named Tony Zhang admitted that his daughter will not be paying for her own college education and will have a house and car by the time she's an adult. He explained to critics that it's a common practice in Chinese culture for families to ensure their children are set up on a path for success which is contrary to the American ideal.
